MARVEL SUPER HEROES 4-D

Yesterday, I was at "Madame Tussauds Wax Museum" in New York City and while having a great time, I was shown a short 4-D film called...

After seeing it two times, I figured, hey why not give it a review since it's a film. However, before this film was made, there was one made in London that I saw on "YouTube" that to my knowledge is still in operation. Despite not actually experiencing the London film, I'm going to review it as well since I think they should both be looked at and reviewed.

THE LONDON FILM

The Marvel heroes go to London to get their heroes award at Buckingham Palace. However, Dr.Doom has sent two giant robots to destroy London and kill our heroes. The heroes that appear in this film are Captain America, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Wolverine, Hulk and Ms.Marvel (Who I never heard of until now). The film is actioned packed, the choice of Marvel heroes is great (Just add Thor and you're done), the action is kickass, the villain is awesome, the 3-D animation looks great and the climax is mind blowing. I guess my only criticism is I wish the plot twist on the Royal Guard at the beginning being Dr.Doom didn't hint that he was; also I was expecting for a cameo of Stan Lee but that's a nitpick. Overall, it truly is an experience that Marvel fans should truly see.

THE NEW YORK CITY FILM

OK, just by looking at the London film, it looks pretty hard to top, so how's the New York City version? Well the plot involves Dr.Doom and Loki to use Tony Stark's new invention to destroy the world and it's up to Spider-Man and the Avengers to stop them. Despite having less heroes than what the London attraction had, it's actually just as mind blowing as the one in London! The heroes again are a lot of fun and great, I love that we have two villains working together instead of just being Dr.Doom, the action is again kickass and the 3-D animation is awesome and comic book colorful. Still no Stan Lee cameo though but that's a nitpick! Just like the London film, it's a must see for fans of Marvel!

RATING 5/5

THE 4-D EFFECTS

The 4-D effects, no matter which version you see are all really creative and mind blowing! From my experience in the New York City version, despite being a small theater it still went all out with its effects. It had air jets, water being sprayed in your face, laser lights, realistic 3-D effects, bubbles, flashing lights, shaky seats and a claw jab from the back of your seat. To my understandings and readings of the London version, that too carries about the same amount of 4-D effects as the one in New York City, only it's a bigger theater, which makes the climax of the film make you feel like you're in outer space but aside from that the 4-D effects are really no different from each other. Whether you're from Europe or America and don't have the money to fly but have the money to visit Madame Tussuads in your local country, chances are you'll love either one of them while enjoying the experience.
